For Admission to the Integrated 5 year course, the students can either take CLAT for the various NLUs or go in for a similar exam conducted by other Universities such as IPU, BHU, SLS and others that are not part of CLAT. These universities offer the integrated course and conduct their own exam and have their own pattern of exam.

Common Law Admission Test is an All India common entrance examination for admission to 19 National law universities for admission to their UG (BA.LLB) and PG (LLM) programs. WHY CLAT
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the common entrance examination for the National Law Universities of India. These Law Schools are highly coveted with thousands of students vying for admission into these Law Colleges. CLAT is an online objective test conducted for admission to these prestigious Law universities, who conduct it on a rotating basis.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for CLAT, the candidates must have secured:
(a) Forty five percent (45%) marks in Qualifying Exam (Class XII or equivalent) in case of candidates belonging to Unreserved /OBC /Specially Abled Persons (SAP) and other categories.
(b) Forty Percent (40%) marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April 2018 are also eligible for appearing in CLAT-2018 online examination. However, they shall be required to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.

PATTERN OF EXAMINATION
CLAT is conducted in online mode at designated examination centers where the paper comprises 200 questions stretched over a period of 2 hours, the break-up of marks/questions is as follows – English (40), GK & Current Affairs (50), Mathematics (20), Legal Aptitude(50),Logical Reasoning(40).Every correct answer awards one mark while every negative answer deducts 0.25 marks from the total score.
SYLLABUS
English including comprehension: The English section will test the candidates’ proficiency in English based on comprehension passages and grammar. In the comprehension section, candidates will be questioned on their understanding of the passage and its central theme, meanings of words used therein, etc. The grammar section requires correction of incorrect grammatical sentences, filling of blanks in sentences with appropriate words, etc.
General Knowledge and Current Affairs: The General knowledge will be tested on the general awareness including static general knowledge. Questions on current affairs will test candidates on their knowledge of national and international current affairs.
Mathematics: This section will test candidate’s knowledge on elementary mathematics, i.e., Mathematics taught up to 10th Class/standard.
Legal Aptitude: This section will test candidate’s interest towards study of law, research aptitude and problem solving ability. Questions may include legal propositions (described in the paper), and a set of facts to which the said proposition has to be applied. Some propositions may not be “true” in the real sense, candidates will have to assume the “truth” of these propositions and answer the questions accordingly.
Logical Reasoning: The purpose of the logical reasoning section is to test the candidate’s ability to identify patterns, logical links and rectify illogical arguments. It may include a variety of logical reasoning questions such as syllogisms, logical sequences, analogies, etc. However, visual reasoning will not be tested.

CLAT is a streamlined test to seek admission in one of the 18 National Law Universities in India. There are 43 other institutes and two public sector institutes who are eligible to accept the CLAT scores. This test is conducted by the 18 Law schools on rotation basis, according to their establishment period, which began with National Law School of India who conducted CLAT in 2008, to Chanakya National Law University conducting the CLAT 2017. The two hour test comprises objective type questions on Elementary Mathematics or the Numerical Ability, English with comprehension, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude and Legal Awareness and Logical Reasoning.
·         Eligibility:This test could be taken up only by the Indians and the NRIs. The foreign nationals willing to take up the CLAT in the Law University shall contact the concerned University directly regarding the seats for other nationalities.

How do I prepare for CDS(OTA) in 3 Months?
Union public service commission conducts Combined Defence Service Exam twice in a year and CDS 2 in the month of November 2021. It guarantee you one of the most promising career in the armed forces as an officer.
CDS exam for OTA comprises 2 subjects that are English and General Knowledge and candidates who are aspiring to join IMA, INA and AFA have to study 3 subjects which are English, Mathematics and General Knowledge. First of all, you need to download previous year question papers of CDS of almost 3-4 years which should be followed by solving them in the real time.
For OTA go with the strategy to score high in English, you can easily score 70+ in English with practice. And clear the GK paper and your score will be easily 100+ enough to pass the written part. For CDS OTA you have to get 100 marks out of 200 ( English+GS ).

How to prepare for NDA 2021 (2) Mathematics
The Mathematics section of NDA will carry 120 objective type multiple-choice questions. Total marks allotted to this section are 300. Candidates will get two hours 30 minutes to solve the question paper. For the correct answer, candidates will score 2.5 marks while 0.83 marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
Syllabus and important topics for Mathematics
NDA syllabus comprises topics from Algebra, Matrices and Determinants, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry of two and three dimensions, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus and Differential Equations, Vector Algebra and Statistics and Probability. Follow the tips and tricks below for the Mathematics section:
·         Candidates must have a clear understanding of the NDA syllabus and mark the important topics after analyzing the previous years’ question papers.
·         Start preparing the important topics first, at the same time, delegate time for the difficult topics.
·         Solve mock tests to decide how much time to dedicate to each type of question. Also, candidates must solve previous year question papers to get an idea about the type of questions asked in the exam.
·         Candidates must learn tips, tricks and shortcuts for efficient time management.
·         Memorise simple calculations such as squares and cubes.
·         Make notes of shortcuts and formula to refer to during last-minute revision.
·         As there is negative marking in the exam, they should mark the answer only if they are sure about it. Do not guess the answers during the exam.
·         Candidates must refer to good Mathematics books and Coaching classes for NDA preprations.
·         During the final phase of preparation, devote at least three hours for going through the formula.
·         Do not get confused while converting the numbers from decimal to a binary system.
·         Trigonometry can be tricky. So be clear with the concepts such as Properties of Triangles and Inverse Trigonometric functions. Hence, solve such questions at the end.
·         Vector Algebra is the most important unit in the syllabus. Practice questions from Vector Product or Cross Product of two vectors.
·         The statistics part can be easy to crack but be careful while taking the figures.
·         In Probability, the Elementary Theorems, Bayes' Theorem and Binomial Distribution are important.

HOW TO DO GET INTO LAW?
Students now have two approaches to pursue Law, one is right after Class 12 to get a five year Integrated L.L.B Degree and the second is after graduation in any stream also giving them an L.L.B Degree. CLATWHAT IS CLAT
Common Law Admission Test is an All India common entrance examination for admission to 19 National law universities for admission to their UG (BA.LLB) and PG (LLM) programs. Entrance test is conducted to provide a list of candidates on the basis of ‘merit-cum-preference’ to each university (amongst 19 NLUs) for admission
WHY CLAT
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the common entrance examination for the National Law Universities of India. These Law Schools are highly coveted with thousands of students vying for admission into these Law Colleges. CLAT is an online objective test conducted for admission to these prestigious Law universities, who conduct it on a rotating basis.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for CLAT, the candidates must have secured:
(a) Forty five percent (45%) marks in Qualifying Exam (Class XII or equivalent) in case of candidates belonging to Unreserved /OBC /Specially Abled Persons (SAP) and other categories.
(b) Forty Percent (40%) marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April 2018 are also eligible for appearing in CLAT-2018 online examination. However, they shall be required to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.

PATTERN OF EXAMINATION
CLAT is conducted in online mode at designated examination centers where the paper comprises 200 questions stretched over a period of 2 hours, the break-up of marks/questions is as follows – English (40), GK & Current Affairs (50), Mathematics (20), Legal Aptitude(50),Logical Reasoning(40).Every correct answer awards one mark while every negative answer deducts 0.25 marks from the total score.
SYLLABUS
English including comprehension: The English section will test the candidates’ proficiency in English based on comprehension passages and grammar. In the comprehension section, candidates will be questioned on their understanding of the passage and its central theme, meanings of words used therein, etc. The grammar section requires correction of incorrect grammatical sentences, filling of blanks in sentences with appropriate words, etc.
General Knowledge and Current Affairs: The General knowledge will be tested on the general awareness including static general knowledge. Questions on current affairs will test candidates on their knowledge of national and international current affairs.
Mathematics: This section will test candidate’s knowledge on elementary mathematics, i.e., Mathematics taught up to 10th Class/standard.
Legal Aptitude: This section will test candidate’s interest towards study of law, research aptitude and problem solving ability. Questions may include legal propositions (described in the paper), and a set of facts to which the said proposition has to be applied. Some propositions may not be “true” in the real sense, candidates will have to assume the “truth” of these propositions and answer the questions accordingly.
Logical Reasoning: The purpose of the logical reasoning section is to test the candidate’s ability to identify patterns, logical links and rectify illogical arguments. It may include a variety of logical reasoning questions such as syllogisms, logical sequences, analogies, etc. However, visual reasoning will not be tested.
NON-CLAT EXAMS FOR THE 5-YEAR COURSEALL INDIA LAW ENTRANCE TEST (AILET) FOR B.A.LL.B CONDUCTED BY NLU, DELHI
The duration of the Exam will be 1 Hour 30 Minutes.
Total 150 questions will be asked in the Examination.
One mark is allotted to each question.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) system or an equivalent examination thereto securing in the aggregate not less than 50% of the total marks. The Candidates appearing in the 12th Standard Examination in March/ April, 2015 can also apply.
The candidate should have been selected at the All India Entrance Test held by National Law University, Delhi.
The candidate should be less than 21 years of age on the First day of July of the year of admission. However, in cases of SC or ST candidates, the maximum age limit shall be 23 years as on the above date.
